“Life is like a slideshow…”

We hope everyone had a GREAT holiday season and that you’re making the most out of your winter break! I know none of us really want to head back to classes, homework, and disgusting sodexo food but it’s okay! We have something for ALL of you to look forward to… IB RETREAT 2011!

IB Retreat will be held on Jan 14-16th, aka the weekend after we all return. Location is a surprise so don’t ask! and aside from that we will have more details at our first family time which is the first wednesday we return, Jan 12! same time, same place!

Retreat is always a great experience. A weekend full of fun times, getting to know everyone better, and getting to know yourself better. and those who have already gone to one will agree. SO GET EXCITED! RETREAT IS COMING SOON!

PCN Programs!

Hello PCN Participants! :D
If you are participating in PCN in any way then please read the following.This is your historian/tech chair and I am requesting some information in regards to the PCN program!  This won’t take long so please fill this out asap and e-mail me back at lilruberduky@gmail.com by Tuesday, February 16th.

Here’s what I’ll need from you:
1) Name

2)graduation

year

3)Major/Minor

4) What you are participating in: katsu, sinkil, war dance, play, singing, music, stage crew etc…

5)attach a picture of yourself6) Answer any question(s) from the list below. (maximum 3 sentences total)

  • As a freshman, what are you looking forward to for PCN?
  • What was the hardest part for you while preparing for PCN?
  • What was the best moment/funniest moment that happened in practice?
  • Seniors, are you sad this is your last PCN?
  • Do you have any anxiety jitters/nervousness about performing?
  • …or you can come up with your own question to answer about PCN (if you do, please write down the question)

RETREAT!

Welcome back IB Fam! :]  I hope everybody had a wonderful holiday and New Years! Now that it’s a new year, and the beginning of a new semester, it’s time for a RETREAT.  Make sure to come out to family time to hear more about retreat and make sure to click “attending” on the facebook event invite.

Remember, retreat is this upcoming weekend, January 22nd -24th.  So make sure to clear this weekend and get ready to spend quality time with the IB family.

FRIENDSHIP GAMES!

HIIII IB

This Saturday is Friendship Games! Remember, in order to attend, you MUST pay your dues before the weekend. $20 for the semester, $35 for the year.

FRIDAY (10/23)-Come out to practice Friendship Games Games! Meet at 4:30pm at O’Malley Lawn [between O’Malley apartments and McCarthy] We will also be spray painting any t-shirts that have not been done.

Saturday (10/24)- We will be meeting at the flagpoles at 5:10AM! yes, you read that right!  PLEASE NO FILIPINO TIME! Be there or…you might get left behind. boo.  Our theme is…drum roll please…Private School. so be sure to bring your spray painted uniform! If you don’t have a shirt, then please dress preppy with the LMU school colors

What to bring for Friendship Games:

+YOUR LMU COLLEGE ID AND DRIVERS LICENSE  [if you forget, you can’t get in]

+YOUR SIGNED WAIVER [email IB account if you need one]

+REMEMBER TO PAY YOUR DUES! OR YOU CAN’T PARTICIPATE :[

+Sun block! it’s going to be hot & sweaty, so make sure you take care of yourself

+any snacks, drinks, food for yourself or to share

+a change of clothes, just in case you get wet

and last but not least, please remember to bring YOUR SMILES AND A GOOD ATTITUDE! because no one likes a rotten apple :]
